Drawing Electrical Field Pattern on the surface Directly

Hi all,

In the previous discussion I was trying to draw a 2D electrical pattern on a flat surface then project it on the 3D geometry I created. In this case, I am thinking if it is possible to draw the pattern on the 3D geometry direction to minimize the distortion generated during surface mapping.

In order to do this, I divided the surface of the geometry into numerous points and take out a few points as the reference of the point charges. However, I am encountering a situation where the field lines do not flow to the surface of the geometry (I tried to plug the geometry directly to the "Accuracy" pin of the field line component but without success). Anyone can give me a clue? Any help would be appreciated!
