Drawing array of surfaces on a single surface

Dear All,

I am attempting to achieve exactly what is in the attached image with affixed parameters. I have been trying to do this by drawing a surface, exploding it as a brep, extracting the vertical edges and horizontal edges respectfully. I have then divided them into points and made a line from 2 points on all and made surfaces via bounding them.

I need to finish with a surface with cut out voids in this array with a flexibility only for the window widths on the x-axis. How can I do this? I have spent too much time attempting this (embarrassingly enough) Anyone offer me any help please?
