Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello!

My first post here, been using grasshopper on and off for various architectural projects in school, but I come here today to ask for a solution for a fairly simple problem. If anyone could help me generate the outcome I'm looking for that would be great!

I will attach an image of the desired shape, and my current work-in-progress file to illustrate how I started. I'll also attach the Rhino4 file that goes with my thinking.

I've tried toying with kangaroo to achieve this drape effect but I can't quite nail it, I'm attempting to create the topography shown in the image of the art piece, so that the top of every peak has the same diameter as one another. My intent is to CNC this topography, but I'm having a hard time modelling the drape effect.

Edit: I tried using kangaroo to relax a mesh using control points from the circles and square, and the drape command in rhino isn't very intuitive. Is there a way to simulate the vacuum form-esque quality of the topography? Perhaps through control point deformation in grasshopper/kangaroo?

If anyone needs clarification I can try to explain it better, but hopefully you can understand from the images what I'm trying to do.

Cheers!
