Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

At the moment im working on my graduation project which is a science and technology park in the future (2050). So, with this in mind i felt that using parametrics in general was a good way to start, hence me being here!

My idea is architecture that will represent the future, speed, communication and efficiency, I came upon Emergent's architecture. Their inspiration is biological cells and dragon fly wings for their designs.

My question, is it possible to design something similar or like the pictures i have attached in grasshopper?

It looks similar to nested voronoi!

NB im just getting acquainted with grasshopper!:)

Any help would be appreciated!:)

help anybody, please!

Assalamu Alaikom wa RahmatuAllah w Barakatoh

hi yassin, i'm also interested & Inspired by the work of Tom

wiscombe & his office (Emergent) & i'm searching for ways to create similar criteria architecture

unfortunately, i didn't achive any progress using grasshopper (as i'm new user of it) however i think there is similar ways of modeling (not the same criteria, but similar geometry) using 3ds Max or Maya or any other software using the same methodology of Modeling from the tutorial from

i came out with results like this poster .. it was just a test of this technique & it could be more complex if you wanted

i wish i could help more >> & i hope so doing this Parametric in Grasshopper
