Does SWEEP 1 command support periodic curve?

Hi everyone!

I have found out, that sweep 1 maybe doesn't support periodic curves as rail. I am having a lot of trouble to solve this problem in attached file. But why does it work for some similar periodic curves (circles) and not the others?  

Any ideas? O_o
