So the length of the curve is always so that you can divide the ends into length=2 and the remainder into segments with length=1?
With the exact numbers you specify it's easy. Just divide the whole curve into length=1 points, then remove the second and second-to-last ones.
However to make it more flexible, what you can do is extend the curve with a negative length, thus trimming the ends:

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I am more thinking about a way to specifiy the start and end length division distance and divide in between equally to a specific number.
for example say that I want the end and start portions to be 2 cm and whatever in between divided to 15 segments.
thanks
