Divide curve in random distances betwen a domain (like 0.2 to 0.7 meters)

I need a little help. I would divide a curve in different distances betwen a domain. I know how divide this curve in randome distances but i don't know how can I do the definition including this range.

 

For example, i have a 10 meters curve and I want to divide this curve in segments with random lenght, but this lenght should be in the domain 0.2-0.7.

Mmm is not this, the lenght of the divisions should be in the domain, but the divisions have to be in all the curve. Thanks for your help!
