Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Folks,

For students, I'd like to display Nurbs Curve Knots in GH -- similar to Rutten's excellent diagram in "Rhinoscript 101" (see attached).  C'est possible?

If so, I could use some insight on how to do this. I'm guessing Knot Vectors might be a good start, but I'm a little unsure how this module works.

Enclosed are the beginnings of GH and Rhino5 files, based on Payne & Issa's Curve Types example in their Grasshopper Primer.  Questions are listed in the GH file.

Feel free to tweak the GH file -- any insights are much appreciated!

David,

I know it's a late reply, but in case the question is still being asked, I think you can use the Evaluate Curve battery to get the curve and the knot vectors as input, and the knots displayed on the curve as output. See the attached file that adds the battery to your original model description. Is this what you were looking for?

Best,

Wei
