diagrid definition

Hi!this is my first post.
Yesterday i was trying to create a diagrid on a surface,with no success.I red a method on GHprimier II,but that is not what i was looking for.I want to obtain editable surfaces of the romboids of the diagrid.Hope you understand what i'm trying to say.
I searched on the web for definition or information (blog,websites),but nothing.Do i have to use a scripted code to do that?

Hi! I'm trying to do an irregular surface division, using graph mapper, and I'm facing 3 main problems. First, and maybe the one that generates the others, is that when I subdivide the surface, it generates a bigger number than i want, as shown in image belowSecond, when I try to evaluate the subsurfaces, so I can find the midpoint of it, in some cases, it gives me two normals insted of one, same with area command: 

And last, when I try to connect the lines, it just goes crazy and gives me like 1000 lines, between them! 

Would appreciate any help
