algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone, I encounter a problem when I reference in a geometry and a path (spline) and at later time I have to adjust the spline (path) only without any adjustments to the definitions, the outcome is a path of intermediate solution something between the original and the new path? I tried refernece in the new path to the definitions again, however it still gives me intermediate solutions? I hope you understand what I am asking?

Hi Maria,
I'm afraid I'm a bit lost. You can internalise referenced curves (though note it doesn't work well or possibly at all in Rhino4, you need Rhino5 to properly internalise curves, surfaces, breps and meshes), which allows you to keep a copy of the geometry that can no longer be modified from Rhino.
Blending curves is an interesting topic in its own right, there is no standard component for it, but there are some solutions:
I'll attach a file soon which shows all 3 solutions.

The attached file was made with 0.9.0002 which is not yet publicly available, but hopefully it will open on 0.8.0066. It showcases the three methods I mentioned above.
