algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello people, Im currently trying to change the diameter of an ellipse, with one of its focal points fixed in space and other one moving in the x axis, how can I achieve this?

Varying the one of the radii of the ellipse is not good enough because the focal points move in space, I need one focal point to be fixed.

Thanks for any help

My bad, its not exactly the focal point. In your animation the left side moves because of using the focal point.

Im looking for something like this, sorry.

What else is there simply just use your noodle a little bit more.

Alright, thank you both very much, both methods work for me!
