definition for a joint

Hi, everyone. I want to apply the joint in picture one to my recent shelf design. So I create circular surfaces based on each point on each corner of hexagons. Then I want to make a intersection between the surfaces and extruded hexagonal plates but the intersection lines don't  come out.Does anyone know why? The attached are the plugin I use to create hexagons on surface, the gh file and the rhino file containing the basic curves. Thanks ~
