Database plugin for GH

Hi! I'm generating different results from one definition in Grasshopper and I need to accumulate the resulting data in some persistent storage. I found slingshot (http://slingshot-dev.wikidot.com/grasshopper-db) plugin for grasshopper but as far as I understood it requires database server so it seems to be too complex for my issue. For my needs some compact file database would be more appropriate. Do more lightweight plugins exist for GH? Maybe you would recommend one :)

thank you, I will try it. I mean an embedded database. Is slingshot plug-in able to connect to embedded databases, or to server databases only?
