Curve height selection

Hi all,

Have a collection of polysurfaces from which I extract the Edges and am trying to cull all curves below a specified z value. 

Basically in the end am trying to extract the top and bottom edges of the collection of surfaces

I can't figure out where the error lies. Help would be gratefully appreciated!Thks
