curve-curve intersect (CCX), giving two points as Output

hi Folks

I am having this problem where I called the grasshopper curve-curve intersect component within python this way:

ghpythonlib.components.CurveXCurve(linesegment1, linesegment2)

knowing that linesegment1 and linesegment2 are line segment

the problem is that this call return two intersect event or two points and two numerical list

in planar geometry tow line segements can only have one intersection point, or none if parrallel

does that mean that the possibility is that this two segment are parallele or identical, to make this component return two intersect points
