Culling additional closed curves caused by an offset

From a voronoi pattern I've applied a loose offset (adding material width to each element) but it results in some self-intersecting curves in the smaller elements.

I've managed to identify the points at which these occur but I'm not sure how I would go about getting rid of them (as well as the associated closed curves they create).

Please see the diagram attached for a better explanation.

Thanks!!

By shattering the self intersecting curves and selecting the longest result will do what you require.
