cube cellular Automata on grasshopper

hey guys!

For starters I'm trying to get a random generation of cells inside a grided cube. If it's possible I would like in the next step to make it condition depending. but for the start I have a truble to make the random generation.

I succeeded on doing a grided box with points and everything. I tried with RABBIT plug-in to make of it a cellular automata that works in a cube and not only rectangular, but it didnt generate anything. It stayed a pile of cubes. 

It would be forever thankfull if anyone has a solution for me.

i'm adding a grasshopper doc of the regular cellular automata, and the doc I tried on a cube.
