Creating lines according to conditions

Hi Guys

I've got a set of points in 3 dimensional space ( http://tinypic.com/r/jze2kl/8 )
 and I'm trying to create lines going through them similar to this: http://digitalsubstance.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/bundle0012.png

I'm unsure how to do it, does anyone have any ideas?

possibly promity 3d with some sort of condition?
