Creating Grid Cells in a Twisted Grid

Hi There,

I have created a twisted grid based on different attractors and its correspondent magnitudes. Now I am trying to create grid cells inside this grid and potentially increase the resolution of the grid only at the cell stage but not at the beginning - where it starts with a rectangular grid -. 

Any ideas on how to?
