Creating diagonals in 'space ship shape'

Hi there.

I'm creating a structure defined by three curves and a number of horizontal ellipses and vertical curves. (Please see file)

In the model i would like to create diagonals like the picture below (the blue lines are from paint) But ofc. for the whole structure.

How can I simple create the diagonals og change their directions if needed?

Hi Troels, 

One way could be to shift progressively the position of the points in the horizontal curves using "shift list":
