Creating a Pipe Wave Form

Hi!

I'm fairly new to Grasshopper and I'm still trying to get the hang of it.  I'm working in a group for a studio project where we're trying to figure out how to make a shape similar to that of a tunnel wave, where there's a flat surface that wraps up and around to connect back to the surface at a point; creating a tunnel.  I don't have a picture of the physical model we're using to explore shape, but attached is a picture of wave tunnel to give you an idea of what we're trying to do.  We're wanting to create a Grasshopper model to experiment with shape, size, and orientation of the curving surface.
