create a curve from point tangent to different curves

Hey

I got a contour in 2D and I do need the tangent lines (green and magenta) from a point to this contour curves.

I tried some isovist and shadow defenitions, but i do not get it work.

I have found also one galapagos defenition for one curve and one point, but I am not really familiar with galapagos. Is there a simple way to find this Curves?

Best Regards

Here's a way using Hoopsnake, rather than galapagos. Basically it finds the point on the curve that's closest to being the right tangent point, extracts the subcurve around that point, and repeats that process, making the subcurve smaller and smaller, and getting closer and closer to the ideal point. It only finds one point per curve though - I just exploded your base curves to get two tangents per contour. To run, just double-click the hoopsnake component and select "loop."
