Courses, workshop, classes?

I posted this in 'General Discussion' but didn't get a response. Maybe one of you can help?

I am a architecture graduate currently working as a landscape architect. I'm interested to attend some classes in parametric design. 

I reside in Adelaide, Australia. But would like to know if there are any good workshops in New York? Well...New York...because I just REALLY want to visit the city. But any recommendations from any countries are very welcomed. 

Maybe a uni course? Or two?

Classes that not just teach technical skills, but explore parametric design more deeply, perhaps investigate how it could advance architecture?
