Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, there.

I´ve searched the forums and this seems to be less usual than what I though... unluckilly.

I´m trying to copy paste a few components from one fiole to another using the good old select-copy-change file-paste method just to find that the command is not able to access the memory processes involved, opening a message window as per the attached file.

Any idea on why should that be happening and how to correct it?

Thanks.

I have the same problem.

I am using Rhino4 SR9, windows XP, grasshopper 0.80066...

I've the same since I loaded the latest version of GH..

I am having the same recently, Rhino 4 SR 9, Win 7, GH 0.8.0066

The problem happens after working on a file for 5 minutes~~ It failed on copying any objects on canvas. Same screen shot as original post. Closing the software and reopening it does not help.

Rebooting the software does not help. Even with one component on canvas and attempt copy will fail.

Rebooting the computer does help, but problem reappears after a while.

Could it be related to one recent Windows update?

(I went on holiday for 1 month. But I recall using 0.8.0066 before that and this never happened. Now I came back and I recalled updated Windows)

I´m happy to tell that it was almost magically solved.

Most probably, since I didn't update GH since the error, it was a windows update stuff or sort.

Cheers!

i have the same problem :( How can i solve this??? :( any idea?

It would appear that having either a browser Chrome/Firefox/IE open at the same time or even possibly Skype is causing this issue.

David has indicated that a more robust method of Copy/Paste has been implemented in the next version of GH (0.9+) which should over come this but it is 2-3 weeks away from being released.

thank you. :) I think you are right because in these moment i have all these programms open. Alsow skype.

But i have resolve the problem by installing again rhino4 sr9 and grasshopper 0.8... it's seems that copy/paste  work for the moment.
