Shape Grammar - Spatial Relationship between Tetrahedron + Pyramid

Hi all,I'm currently studying some basic Shape Grammar in MIT. Worked on a small project exploring the emergence nature by a single spatial relationship between a perfect tetrahedron and a pyramid.Tetrahedron: 24 SymmetriesPyramid: 8 SymmetriesDesign space = 24 X 8 = 192 permutationsSo I decided to write a simple…See More

"Hi! Here is the Grasshopper definition. You have to download and install the Bowerbird plugin to use it. Cheers!"

"wow, this is great. Was building some things on my own but it's a lot of work and I'm still a beginner. However, I'm working with the latest build of GH. 0.9.0066 and it doesn't seem to work with it. Any chance that there is a…"

"Hi! Take a look at the Bowerbird plugin. It provides a waffle component which works with meshes. Converting the mesh to a surface would make the whole thing slower and inaccurate."

Rob replied to Victor Leung's discussion A solid waffle for laser cutting.
"Yep, you can't use this definition to waffle a mesh. You could change some of the components and probably get an equivalent tool, but it would be fairly complex. You might try converting your object to a surface using Rhino (or just rebuild it…"

"I'm trying to slice this model (File attached) but I can't, I ask to a friend who uses Grasshoper, and he told me that it's because the model is a Mesh, and I need a Surface.I don't know if that's the problem, someone of you…"

Hello,

It seems from your profile information that you either study or work at the university that I am interested in. I would like to ask you about something. I would like to start PhD studies at HKU in the future and try to become a beneficiary of Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Do you know wether beneficiaries of this scholarship are allowed to take part-time jobs during their studies ? I tried to get an answer from the Fellowship board directly. However, I haven't received any reply for some time.
