converting a curve to a poliline

normally i do this with rhino.
now to control the output via sliders while having visual control and then integrate the output into another gh-definition i am looking for something like a convert-component (which i did not find)
so i tried to build a definition on my own and attach it here.

does someone have suggestions to optimize this?
as i use a combination of a rebuild (degree1) and a reduce (poliline) component, i can only control the tolerance between the original curve and the poliline output, while the rhino-convert-command gives me additional control over the angle tolerance.
any ideas how i could manage this with grasshopper?
