Continuous funnel surface with Kangaroo

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing a project similar to this post.

I am now using an ellipse as the base surface. The problems are :

A - Hexagon cells extend beyond the ellipse border.

B - Hexagon cells should be excluded at funnel hole.

C - I intend to control start point of funnel from points. Used closest point, failed.

This is my first time using kangaroo, so any tips and advice is highly appreciated. Thanks!
