Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is there a way to compare all the items within a tree one by one and then remove the ones that are the same ? I use the line component to draw lines between random points but i only want to keep the lengths that are different not the ones that ln calculates twice.

You can use Kangaroo, or a few other methods, including the ones discussed here

A google search for "grasshopper remove duplicates" returns several relevant results! : )

[Create Set] also works in this case.

This is what I am looking for. Just one thing: I can't find the components you used before and after the create set component. (the one with the green/red small spheres and the one with the letters.) Can you tell me their names? thank you for your help

From left to right:

[Populate2d]-[Line] -([Line])-[Param Viewer]+[Length]-[Create Set]-[Replace Paths]-[List Item]

Note you can change the look of [Param Viewer] by a double click.
