David has hidden "Blend Colours" from the menu - because there is a generic interpolate component that can now blend between colors, numbers, vectors, and other data types. However, I personally still like "Blend Colours" since it takes two inputs instead of requiring the construction of a more complex data tree - you can actually still add it to the canvas using the double-click search and searching for "#Blend Colours" - the "#" character allows you to search for hidden components. Once you've got it you may even choose to add it back to the toolbar as a user object via the file menu.
