color match with number and calculate the weighted average

Hello,

is there a way for grasshopper to match between colors and numbers then he calculates the amount of all color(numbers) in the drawings and gives you one weighted average (one equivalent number) for the whole drawing as per attached file

thanks

You can treat the gradient as a colour set, then find the nearest member in that set to a sampled colour.

Wish: A Dropper component that you can tether to a location on an image to gain the pixel colour

The colour picker already has a dropper that can pick any colour off the screen. And the Image Sampler can be used to get colours out of an image at runtime.

Yeah I was thinking more along the lines of a combination of having the ability to change the image but have a more user friendly picking procedure.

thanks alot

thank you so much
