Color coding components

Hi,

For components that have reverse, flatten, graft, simplify, or expression, would it be a good idea to color code the small icons when the user has activated them.  Right now, when activated, it's fairly small and is gray on gray.

Upon first glance, it would be easy to tell if a component has these activated.
