Hi RG,

Grasshopper geometry does not support per data data such as color or line-weight or name. Only once an object is baked does it receive Rhino Attributes. Components like [Custom Preview] handle their own display and store the colour data in parallel with the geometry data.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
