Cluster input deleting empty path

hi,

After creating a cluster i noticed that empty paths are being deleted at the input to the cluster? I copied the cluster components out of the cluster and the issue does not occur with the same inputs. Attached screenshots show cluster and normal versions

I've not noticed this before, and just installed 0.9.0.72 so not sure if this is a new problem.
