Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

HI!

I need to create a closed curve which could be defined by ellipses as well as to be modified/deformed by those ellipses. (the picture attached should help to understand it) Any ideas how can I do that?

*Should I draw ellipses in Grasshopper -> region union/ intersection -> fillet?

*Or should I modify control points of the rhino curve?

I'd like to think that there's an easy way to do that, just can't figure it out.

I'd really appreciate any help!

What rule governs an internal and external influence ellipes and can they change from one to the other?

Internal and external ellipses cannot change from one to another because they deform the curve in different ways - either push it inside or outside.

There is no rule for ellipses, I drew them as a way of analyzing the curve. (There might be other ways of analyzing those curves using other ellipses as well).

I just need to transport the curve into Grasshopper with a possibility to deform it by changing radius of surrounding ellipses.

I hope that makes sense ;/

Thank You! It works perfectly!
