algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Just found out the hard way (ie. wondering where I went wrong for the last 2 hours), that the X,Y and Z size values for Center Box (Box) are not quite what they should be.

If left at the default it is set to 1 for x,y and z. Further scaling the cube later on using a scale node and still assuming the size is 1 it will produce wrong values, because a value of 1 for x,y and z will actually create a cube that has a size of 2 in x,y and z direction, much like you would specify a radius, rather than a diameter.

In this case though I think it doesn't make sense. If it says "size of box in {x} direction" and I input 1, I expect it to have a total size of 1 in x direction. I have never seen a box being represented by half its size, even if it is a "center" box.

At least please change what it says in the description for the inputs, so that it is more clear. This error wasn't immediately obvious, because I was translating, scaling and rotating the cubes later on in the chain and then recreating those transforms in a different software, where I use a box of size 1 in x,y and z direction.

Thanks, Armin.

I have fallen foul of this as well and never got around to mentioning here. I think this must be a bug and not the intended results.
