Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

So I'm new to scripting in general and also a bit of an amateur in Grasshopper, and I think I may have dove into the deep end and forgot my water wings. I'm attempting to write a script that starts with a single tile and subdivides it based on the fractal pattern. It seems to be getting way too complex and I'm thinking there must be a better way. So if anyone has any ideas on a better approach or perhaps how to get this one working it would be greatly appreciated.

I hoping to have separate sliders for each tile to control how many scales it occurs at to get the inward branching pattern show in Mr. Balmond's drawings. Ultimately I hope to use it for metal facade panels that would be etched and punched according to the various scales of the tessellation.
