Can't Bake Geometry

Ok so I'm trying to bake a geometry and it's just not working. I'm new to GH and I got help from a blogger who shared the definition with me. I think his version of GH was an earlier version and used a 'vector sum' component which mine doesn't have. I used the regular 'addition' component but there were some discrepancies with resulting values between the two.
