cannot bake Solid difference

Hi all,

 

I'm sorry if my question will be stupid..

 

I subtracted some randomly distributed spheres from  a cylinder by doing Boolean difference. I cannot bake the solid generated by solid difference. I tried solid union to combine spheres and cylinder. However, I can bake the solid generated by solid union. Does anyone know the reason?

output brep is invalid.... its probably because sphere is not a brep, but surface. dont know how to manage with it...

 

or

 

just bake cylinder and spheres before boolean to rhino, and boolean with rhino :D
