Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Can Grasshopper files still be saved after the 90 day trial period for Rhino5?

I'm wondering is Grasshopper files will still be able to be saved in Rhino5 once the 90 day trial period ends.

Thanks.

Grasshopper has no expiration date or trial limits, so as long as Rhino will run Grasshopper, you will be able to save and open GH/GHX files.

It's been suggested to me that Rhino trial will not load plugins after the expiration.  However if Grasshopper was loaded prior to the trial expiration will it still work?  It seems like it should because 'loading' seems different that 'running' but I'm just guessing.

Chris

It won't. Before Rhino can run any commands in a plugin, it needs to load that plugin first. An expired Rhino eval will not load Grasshopper.

Hi David

I could not save some old GHX files that people shared....when you click on link to save ,it was only text lines (code lines) . Is it GH version issue or...???? VERY BEGINERS QUESTION
