Can anyone explain difference between dispatch vs sift ?

I just found new components sift -combine.

How they work look similar to dispatch in terms of sorting items.

I guess dispatch sort items by true-false and sift is sorting by 0-1.

If anyone can tell me benefit of spit compared to dispatch, that would be great.

thank you

Sift is more flexible, when you zoom in on it you can add more outputs.

Sift is also more robust as it retains list order. Instead of creating two output lists that contain only the items selected, it will actually include nulls for those items not selected. The combination of Sift and Combine is therefore ideal to mimic conditional statements.

I'd say Sift is to be preferred in almost all cases, however since it is newer I chose to retain Dispatch.
