BUILDING REGULATIONS AS GENERATIVE RULES

Dear all,

I'm a lecturer in Architectural Design at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm engaged in a research project - Compliant Architecture - investigating the limits imposed upon design by the detailed building regulations that exist in Scotland.

As part of this project, i'd like to diagram these constraints, and use a parametric tool to assist in testing their limits / freedoms.

I'm currently familarising myself with Grasshopper, and am looking for someone versed in the package to discuss the most elegent way to script these regulations. If you are interested in contributing to this project, or discussing any aspect of it, please get in touch. No doubt we could use this site to share sample / example files.
