Building a Quasicrystal structure

This is the Quasitable by Aranda\Lasch.

Basically I am working on a design using the Quasicrystal as a basis for the structure so the same kind of rhomb packing as seen above. I have been building it manually in rhino then using grasshopper the loft the curves etc creating a Quasicrystal framed structure as below. The problem is that I want the structure to grow much larger and denser so was hoping that someone might know of a potential solution (whether it be using Rabbit... or scripting I dont really know), which will speed up the process.

Any help would be much appreciated.
