Bricks on surface and Two variable function

I just started learning grasshopper. To start I carry out the exercises of Arturo Tedeschi (Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper)and Vicente Soler (Basic Course Grasshopper). I have some problems with two exercises which do not function. For the first exercise the bricks are not placed correctly on surface and for the second exercise surface is not created correctly. Thank you for the assistance.

Hi Jean-Pierre,

In case you don't have them, the attached file contains all the exercises in .gh format for the Grasshopper Basic Course workbook so you can open them in Grasshopper.

Keep in mind the workbook was written to be used as a complement to a classroom course where the teacher explains properly the exercises. I don't think it's suited for self-education. Of course I encourage you to keep using it if you find it useful. The official link to download it is here:

Hi Vicente,

Thanks for the assistance. As there is no really course on Grasshopper in Belgium it is necessary to learn by oneself by doing exercises. Yours are very interesting to start.

The final goal will be for me to use Karamba because formal research only is not sufficient, it is especially necessary to optimize the structure of a project in my opinion.
