Hi,

 

I am trying to trim a main brep with a series of smaller one. But, by doing so, I end up with the main brep trimmed with the smaller ones in isolation; aka 1 main brep for every smaller brep I am using as trim set.

 

What I actually want is one main brep with the smaller brep series taken out as a singular brep; aka one brep with multiple holes through it.

 

I've tried joining the smaller breps together as well as doing a boolean brep join but somehow I still end up with a series of brep trim.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have uploaded an example that works. Apply the same principles to your problem.

three tips

1. make sure Branch Paths have the same dimension.

2. flip cutting surfaces to pick what side you want to keep.

3. pass in two flattened arrays. one for cutting, one for object of cutting.

I am still faced with the same problem...

 

One thing I noticed is I can't flip the cutting surfaces as I am using a lofted brep, not extruded...

Try Sdiff.
