algorithmic modeling for Rhino

box morph error

I am trying to apply the attached geometry and wrap it round the target surface. I thought the best way to do this was box morph it onto the surface, but I keep getting the error message 'cannot morph from a degenerate box'. I've not had this error message before and not sure what it means? Is anyone able to help? Many thanks

have a look at the file, I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve exactly, but the morph does work now, if you need to change the orientation of the fins just rotate them in rhino.

a degenerate box was because you had a zero height planar geometry whose bounding box was zero height as well.

also you need to graft the geometry you want to morph. try it out grafted/flattened to see what it does.
