Bitmap to nurbs
Hi everybody!
I'm working on a project, where I have to convert a monochrome picture into a nurbs curve. I already found a solution, but I think there might be a much more elegant way for doing this. Furthermore my solutions slows down the script a lot, because of the mesh components. The image is just a quick example, which I have done with paint, to illustrate how it works. All the files are in the attachment. Unfortunately I wasn't able to internalize the bitmap.
I would be thankful for any kind of help!

Peacock has a component to rasterize black and white images. It's no big deal, but try it out just in case it serves you. Keep in mind that the larger the image, the longer it will take. It allows you to control the resolution and the final smoothing of the curve.
