Basic Kangaroo Trouble

So I'm starting out a summer parametric course and want to heavily utilize kangaroo as its applications seem perfect for current and future use. Ive begun my investigation with the funicular structure that is so alluring, but like many, mine just doesnt work.. I'm sure this question has been asked 1000 times by now (I have found at least 3 on the forum) but what am I doing wrong here?

Ive setup the file like most people said to but it wont "Run". By that I mean no simulation is ran and the resultant geometric output is a mesh that is still on the XY plane undisturbed.

I've attached the .gh file associated with this problem

Hello Hunter,

Some things I noticed from your definition

1. I believe you have an outdated version of kangaroo,

2. You need to flatten the Forces input

3. The anchor points need to be on top of mesh vertices, not just anywhere. (you can use closest point to move the points you have on the nearest vertices)

4. To run the simulation you have to double-click on the boolean toggle (set it to false)
