Ball Collisions

Hi, 

Im trying to work out how to create a script that will collide a number of spheres together or repel them. I understand this will probably be the spring command in Kangaroo however i cant seem to attach the spheres to the springs. Can someone write a really simple version of this so that i can understand how to attach specific geometries to what is being pushed or pulled?
