Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

Each time we enter the command _GrasshopperUnloadPlugin in order to recompile there is a little window asking if we really want to unload the cache.

As I ALWAYS want to select "Yes", my question is quite simple: does anybody knows if it is possible to automatically select "yes" and "enter" using a macro? ( I tried _GrasshopperUnloadPlugin _Yes _Enter but nothing happens so I suppose this syntax does not work). Otherwise, would it be possible to have some kind of option in the grasshopper settings to systematically kill this popup if we want to?

It would really help...

Thank you.

Hi Thibault,

silly isn't it? I broke one of the main rules of UX design there (to wit: never interrupt the proceedings with idiocy).

The future of that command (and of COFF loading in general) is currently uncertain. I'll remove the messagebox for 0.9.0002.

Thank you for your answer David.

If you remove the COFF loading, does it mean the debug procedure will be easier with VS2010, or does it mean we will have to restart rhino each time we recompile?

Thank you.

I don't know yet. I'll do my very best to keep the option to debug without restarting.

Basically there's this method which means I can probably decide automatically whether to load GHA from disk or via the memory.

Thank you for your answer David.

I will look forward to the next release then.
