Attractor Pattern

Hey people!

I'm getting started with Grasshopper and really enjoy all the work that's been posted here and elsewhere. However I'm having a small problem.

I'm trying to create an adaptive pattern in order to do some laser cutting. My definition is built from the ground up and probably really over-done but I managed to do it. It's an example of what I would like to have done but now with a point attractor preferably within the same defined rectangle (so only the position of the lines change). IN this version you can change the resolution of the grid with the number slider at the bottom.

Also I would like to make this happen with small circles as well (show in the attached picture as X would be the point attractor).
